What is your shipping policy?

We aim to get your teas to you as quickly as possible to ensure your anticipation is met with satisfaction in an immediate manner.  All orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours (unless you have requested Express delivery) and in the UK should be with you in 3-5 days.

DOMESTIC

Uk orders will be delivered within 3-5 days (standard delivery) or 1-2 days (express delivery).  Please choose the appropriate shipping option at checkout.

INTERNATIONAL

International orders will be dispatched within 48 hours, and are sent using the quickest method available, and are typically expected for delivery within 5-7 days (standard delivery).  If you would like to discuss a bulk order or an express option, please contact us using the contact form or email in advance of placing your order and we will look into an individual pricing order for you.

How do you prepare the teas?

For the best infusion we recommend the use of a tea-pot and tea-strainer, to allow the leaves movement for full flavour.  1 teaspoon (heaped) per person and cup of boiling water is about right for each blend, and 4-5 minutes steeping time, before straining.  For some of the blends with woody herbs or roots, we recommend reusing the herbs for a second pot (Chai and heartburn tea).  Floral blends (Samhradh) will not usually make a second pot and keep the same flavour, however, will often permit a top-up! 

You might want to 'tweak' these instructions for your own satisfaction, to get the flavour that suits your taste-buds.  The most important thing is that you are happy with the taste of the tea, and fully enjoy the experience!
