Passionate about the ethnobotany of the Highlands, we’ve used our extensive research into native Highland botanicals to put together these heritage blends based on traditional use of native medicinal plants in the Highlands of Scotland. In honour of the long history of use with our Scottish ancestors, our blends have Gaelic names. We believe that to preserve the heritage of our plant use through history, we must preserve the native language that documented it. Claire is committed to reclaiming the native tongue of her personal ancestors from Loch Carron, and is also on a life-long mission to learn and preserve the Gaelic names of plants and also the oral herbal tradition.
